Columbus Day
Christopher Columbus was an Italian explorer, navigator, colonizer, and citizen of the Republic of Genoa. He was born in 1451 in the Republic of Genoa and died in May 20, 1506 in Validation. Columbus was determined to reach the East indies by sailing westward. Columbus Day is a national holiday in many countries in the Americas and elsewhere which officially celebrates the anniversary of Christopher Columbus arrival in and the discovery of the American Continent on October 12, 1492.
